Biography
Ariel Curry is the adoptive daughter of Arthur Curry and Mera. Biologically, she's the daughter of the god Triton and an unknown Atlantean. She was taken in after his death when she was an infant, and often forgets she was adopted at all.Newly 18, Ariel has run off from her home in Atlantis to explore the world on land, which is something she's always wanted to do. She's always dreamt about becoming Aquagirl and living among the humans, though her parents worried she was too naive of the world for this.
Physical Description
Ariel is an Atlantean with mutations, though she can use magic to alter her appearance to be more human while on land. However, salt water reverts her back to her natural form.Her natural appearance has patches of green scales on her skin, fins along her back, legs, and arms, webbed fingers and toes, and her eyes are fully purple.Her more human appearance is 5'2", with red hair, and purple-tinted dark eyes.
Powers
She is hydrokinetic, which she has under decent control, though most of her other magic is severely lacking due to skipping school and lessons so frequently in her youth.
On top of these powers, she has Atlantean physiology.
Other Details
When Ariel was younger, someone put the idea into her head that her unknown Atlantean mother could have been a siren, though that any siren abilities she had wouldn't work on Atlanteans. Because of this, Ariel is afraid to speak to anyone who isn't of Atlantean descent.
